Once the weather gets warm and stays that way, more people might venture out on their bikes and now there's a new tool in downtown Davenport set up to bikers in case their bikes break down.

It's called a bike fix it station. The tall green stand allows bikers to hang their bikes and fill it with air but there are also tools attached to help with any other trouble they run into.

There's also a QR reader that you can scan with your smart phone for instructions on how to fix your bike. This station is located at 2nd and Iowa.

"The reason we chose that location, we partnered with Great River Brewery," operations manager of Downtown Partnership Ryan Jantzi said. "They have a lot of biking clientele that come down there there's always bikes parked down there."

If this station becomes a success, there could be more put up in other locations.
