New Center Greets Quad City Airport Visitors

Posted: Updated:
A new visitor center opened in a new location at the Quad City International Airport in Moline. It's now located near the baggage claim and will be staffed from 9 a.m. to 9 pm every day.

The center features information on tourist attractions and landmarks and with its new location, can potentially reach more of the  approximate 800,000 people who use the airport each year.

"This is a much more convenient, customer-friendly location and it will create a great first impression for our out-of-town guests arriving in the Quad Cities," said Joe Taylor of the Quad Cities Convention and Visitors Bureau.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Thursday to open the new center.
