Another motion has been denied in the Nicholas Sheley trial.

The convicted killer is scheduled to be in court for the start of a new murder trial on Monday, May 12, 2014.

On Friday, May 9, 2014, a judge turned down a request by Sheley to fire his lawyer.

This is Sheley's third murder trial.

In this case, he's accused of killing four people in Rock Falls, Ill.: Brock Branson, his girlfriend Kilynna Blake, her two-year-old son Dayan and their friend Kennith Ulve.

Sheley's already been convicted of killing Ronald Randall of Galesburg, Ill. and Russell Reed of Sterling, Ill.

Because of the publicity, this trial has been moved from Whiteside County to Rock Island County.

Also on Friday, potential jurors learned about what to expect if they are chosen.

Sheley will still face another trial for the murder of a couple killed in Missouri during an alleged killing spree in June of 2008.
