U.S. Marshals Continue To Collect Crundwell Assets

Posted: Updated:
U.S. Marshals say they're not done seizing and selling off the assets of the former Dixon, Ill. comptroller who stole nearly $54-Million from the city.

They are still working to get hold of about a dozen assets belonging to Rita Crundwell.

She is serving a nearly 20-year sentence after pleading guilty to embezzling for decades to support her lavish lifestyle.

Marshals have already sold off properties, jewelry and horses but now say they're going after personal loans Crundwell made, as well as a trophy collection, a pickup truck and offspring of the horses.
