Meth Bust In Zwingle, Iowa

Two men are under arrest after authorities converged on a house in Zwingle, Iowa Friday morning. Officers from the Jackson County Sheriff's Officer, Iowa State Patrol and Muscatine County Drug Task Force used a search warrant to go into a house in the 14,000 block of Bellevue Cascade Rd around 7 a.m. Inside, investigators say they found numerous items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine.

They also say several people were inside the home at the time. Authorities arrested two people who live there: 24-year-old Nicholas John Baker and 23-year-old Shawn Michael Stierman. They are charged with conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and gathering where drugs are used. Both charges are felonies. The two are being held in the Jackson County Jail on $100,000 bond.
