Police are asking for the public's help after workers at a Moline business were robbed at gunpoint.

Moline Police were called to the Dairy Queen and Orange Julius on 53rd Street near Avenue of the Cities around noon on Saturday.

The owner, Cory Stott, tells us the robber did get away with some crash.

"A young gentleman came at a little before noon. Actually pulled a gun and cocked it and told our young ladies to open the drawers, which is what they did," he said.

Stott says says the robber tried to get into the safe, but the two workers didn't know the combination, so the man took off.

No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as being a light-skinned black male, 16-20 years old, 5'08 to 5'10 tall, thin (under 150 lbs.), wearing dark navy baggy jeans, a dark grey hooded sweatshirt, a ball hat, and a backpack.

If you recognize the suspect or have any information about the robbery please contact the Moline Police department or Crime Stoppers 762-9500
