Firefighters were back at the scene of a grain bin fire Tuesday that first started burning Monday, May 19, 2014. The large grain storage bin is located at the intersection of Route 136 and Route 41 forcing Illinois State Police to close the road.

The bin, owned by Western Gain Marketing, has approximately 700,000 bushels of dried corn inside. State police say because of the risk of a grain dust explosion, Rt. 136 has been closed in that area to Adair, Illinois until further notice.
