UPDATE: A man has been arrested in connection with the stabbing death that happened in Muscatine over the weekend.

Police say 30-year-old Cody Curtis, is accused of stabbing and killing Timothy Lane on Sunday, May 25, 2014.

Curtis faces a felony second degree murder charge and up to 50 years in prison.

In the wake of Timothy's death, family and friends will hold a candle light vigil along the Muscatine riverfront in his honor Wednesday night.

ORIGINAL: One man is dead after a stabbing in Muscatine, Iowa.

It happened in the 3000 block of Grandview Avenue on the night of May 25th.

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing there around 7 p.m. They say they found Timothy Dean Lane who'd been stabbed.

Lane was unresponsive and not breathing. He was later pronounced dead at Trinity hospital.
