Three people were arrested in Henry County Iowa on meth charges after a three month investigation, officials say.

On Friday, May 30, 2014, Sheriff’s officials conducted a search warrant at 401 N. Poplar St. in New London, Iowa.

The search was based on an investigation into the illegal sales of controlled substances and manufacturing meth at the residence.

Arrested was 24-year-old Cigi Bowman from New London, 27-year-old Raymond Beggs of the Burlington area and 54-year-old Joseph Liggett of Burlington.

Bowman was charged with the class B felony, manufacturing methamphetamine over five grams.

Officials say Cigi will also be charged with class D felonies of delivery of a controlled substance  and possession of a controlled substance with intent to manufacture.

She faces 35 years in prison.

Beggs was charged with the class B felony, manufacturing methamphetamine over five grams and faces 25 years in prison.

Liggett was also charged with the class B felony, manufacturing methamphetamine over five grams.

Officials say he’ll also be charged with possession of precursors with intent to manufacture methamphetamine, a class D felony.
