Davenport city leaders will talk about federal-aid funding for Veterans Memorial Parkway at the council meeting on Wednesday, June 4, 2014.

They'll discuss an agreement with the Iowa DOT to use the money to go towards extending the parkway from I-74 to Utica Ridge Road.

There are several phases of the project.

The second phase opened in December 2013.

It runs from Eastern Avenue to Jersey Ridge Road.
