A former pharmacy technician in Aledo, Ill. has pleaded guilty to drug and fraud charges and has been sentenced.

Court records show that 56-year-old Tara J. Speck of Monmouth, Ill., was arrested in February 2014 along with three other Aledo Walmart pharmacy employees.

Earlier this week, Speck pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, a class 4 felony and insurance fraud, a class A misdemeanor.

Speck received two years of probation, 30 days of community service and four days in jail with credit for time served.

She was also fined $2,000 plus court costs

Upcoming court dates are scheduled for the other three defendants arrested with Speck.
