Muscatine Man Walks Into Hospital After Multiple Stab Wounds

A Muscatine, Iowa man was stabbed multiple times, but was still able to walk himself into the hospital.

Police say 31-year-old Juan Carlos Rodriguez-Riviera walked into the emergency room at Trinity Hospital around 11:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 4, 2014.

He was treated and transferred to Iowa City Hospitals and Clinics where he remains for observation.

Muscatine Police are investigating the incident, trying to determine where the stabbing took place and who is responsible.

They ask anyone with information to call Detective John Hesseling at 563-263-9922 ext. 665.

They say anyone who provides information related to this stabbing can remain anonymous.
