Is dining outdoors better for your health? The Blue Zone Project in Muscatine is going to find out. It launched the Dining Outdoors Pilot Program Tuesday, June 10, 2014.

Four downtown restaurants have set-up outdoor dining venues. The idea is to encourage social engagement and healthy lifestyle by walking.

The participating restaurants include  Avenue Subs, Boonies on the Avenue, Guadalajara and Salvatores.
