Barbecue masters and amateurs from around the world are in the Quad-Cities this weekend firing up the grill, showing off their skills as they compete in the 4th annual "Barbecue and Craft Brew Competition" in downtown Davenport.

The chefs are trying to win $10,000 in prize money by taking part in blind taste tests with a panel of judges, serving up chicken, pork, brisket and ribs.

You can talk to the experts and learn some tricks and help out a great cause.

"We give a good portion of the proceeds to Children's Therapy," coordinator Glen Rohn said. "We think they do a marvelous job and that's the one we have chosen over the years."

The event is free to the public and it also features several local breweries along with food and drink.

Tomorrow morning there will also be a "Bicycle Brew Cruise" for charity.
