gMed Announces Mobile Application gCharge

Weston, FL (PRWEB) July 01, 2014

gMed debuted its mobility application, gCharge, as part of its latest enhancements to the gGastro suite of products. gCharge will be the first of many mobile applications under the gMobile-MD capabilities. This fully integrated application allows physicians to complete a variety of tasks, including entering charges at the hospital and viewing critical patient information while away from their office.

gMed unveiled gCharge recently at the companys annual user summit. The application is offered free to all clients utilizing its practice management software. We feel this is the beginning of our next generation of capabilities, stated Joe Rubinsztain MD, CEO of gMed. Applications that help physicians and their teams accurately capture information and utilize it in a real-time aspect to treat patients will dominate our future. We anticipate continuing to bring innovative capabilities to our clients and the field of gastroenterology.

gCharge will work as an extension of gPM, gMeds Practice Management software, allowing data to flow freely and in real-time between both applications. This fully compliant ICD-10 tool will also help guide physicians through the ICD-10 process. gCharge is compatible with iOS 7 and above, as well as with Android devices.

We remain focused on improving the way gastroenterologists practice medicine, stated Matt Schreiber, VP of Sales and Marketing. Delivering the best possible user experience from the physician to the billing and scheduling team is critical in helping our clients achieve an enhanced patient relationship.

gMed is still in the final stages of developing gCharge. The application is scheduled for release this winter. This release marks the beginning of gMeds mobile product line, which will continue to develop over the next two years.
