UPDATE 7-23-14: A Winnebago County Grand Jury recently returned a 15 count indictment against Terence Doddy for the June 30th death of Todd Hansmeier. Doddy has already been arraigned in Winnebago County court and has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Lee County State’s Attorney Anna Sacco-Miller has also filed 16 counts against Doddy in the death of Tonya Bargman on July 1st, 2014 that is alleged to have occurred at a rest stop on I39 near Paw Paw, Illinois.

UPDATE 7/4/14: Police in Beloit, Wis. say they have arrested Terrence Doddy.

UPDATE: The victim at the rest stop is being identified as 44-year-old Tonya D. Bargman of Monticello, Ill.

ORIGINAL: Illinois State Police investigators are asking for help with a death investigation.

According to investigators a woman was found unresponsive at the Willow Creek rest stop, just south of Rochelle, Ill. on southbound I-39. Officials say a rest stop attendant found the woman and police were able to review surveillance tapes to determine what happened.

Investigators say they saw the woman leave the rest room and then was attacked by a man.

Police have identified 36-year-old Terence Doddy of Rockford, Ill. as a person of interest in the investigation.

He is wanted by the Rockford Police Department for a murder that happened on June 30, 2014 in Rockford.

Doddy was seen leaving the rest area in the woman's gray 2013 Nissan Altima with the Illinois license plate "BARGMN 2"

Anyone with any information is asked to call 911.

Law enforcement officials are also urging the public to take the necessary safety precautions when visiting rest stop areas.
