A development deal planned for the site of the old Audubon school in Rock Island is no longer on the table.

The school district says the deal has fallen through. The district owns the land and planned to sell it to a developer out of Chicago but the buyer pulled out without giving a reason.

The land along 18th Street is again up for sale.
