UPDATE: Father/Daughter Duo Arrested For Davenport Bank Robbery

A father and daughter have been arrested in connection a bank robbery at a U.S. Bank branch in Davenport on Friday, July 11th.

Mercedes Anne Griebe, 22 of Des Moines, was identified by Davenport police and the department sought a warrant for the Des Moines native. On Friday, July 21 she was arrested for Robbery 2nd Degree in Des Moines by the Des Moines Police Department.

On Monday, July 21, Griebe's father, Albert Griebe, 45 of Davenport, was arrested and charged with Robbery 2nd, Theft 2nd and compounding a felony.


The Davenport Police Department have sent out photos of a person of interest in the robbery of a U.S. Bank branch on Friday, July 11th.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of this person is encouraged to call the Davenport Police Department at 563-326-6125


Davenport police are looking for information regarding a robbery of the U.S. Bank branch at 4004 Northwest Blvd.

Police say a lone individual entered the bank and gave a note to the teller demanding money. The individual took an unknown amount of money and left the bank in an unknown direction.

No weapon was displayed and no one was hurt.
