Erika Cervantes - KWQC-TV6 News and Weather For The Quad Cities -

Erika joined the KWQC News Team in June 2008. She became interested in reporting while growing up in Los Angeles and watching the news every night. Erika's other interest is history and she received her degree in American History from UC Davis.

After college she worked as a production assistant and coordinator at an L.A. news station. Her big break happened in 2004 at the FOX affiliate in Fargo. After braving the extreme cold for a few years, it was on to Cedar Rapids.   That's where Erika covered everything from health stories, to the Parkersburg Tornado and the 2008 June floods. Now Erika is happy to be in Quad Cities.

When she's not at work you can usually find Erika exploring the Quad Cities and shopping.
