YOUR FIRST ALERT FORECAST FROM KATIE DONOVAN
We saw an increase in cloud cover through the afternoon as widespread severe weather developed south of the TV6 viewing area. Look for that mix of sun and clear skies to linger through tonight. A few storms are possible through the evening but widespread severe weather is not anticipated. Any storm that were to develop and become strong would likely be south of the Quad Cities where a more supportive environment is located. We can't rule out a few scattered thundershowers through the morning and afternoon, but most of the day will be dry and pleasant with temperatures in the mid 70s. Clearing will take place by the evening hours so we will end our Sunday with plenty of sun. Memorial day looks to be mostly sunny and warm with highs in the 70s. An isolated shower or storm is possible during the evening hours, but won't wash out any holiday activities.
TONIGHT: A few storms. Low: 59°. Wind: E 0-5 mph.
TOMORROW: An isolated shower or storm early. Then clearing by evening. High: 75°. Wind: NW 5-15+ mph.
MEMORIAL DAY: Sunshine. An isolated evening shower or storm. High: 73°.
