***FIRST ALERT DAY FRIDAY 6AM TO MIDNIGHT***

A First Alert Day is in effect or snow and ice making travel difficult this afternoon. Look for a snow/wintry mix to approach the area from the south and be along I-80 around 10AM. It will change over to all snow for the QCA by midday. Areas near Galesburg and Princeton, IL it will turn over to freezing rain. The storm will lift out the area by midnight, but drops around 1″-4″ of snow in the QC to Savannah, IL, to Burlington, IA.
