QUAD CITIES, IA/IL- Scattered clouds should hang around for a little while longer before gradual clearing takes place overnight. Look for sunshine returning to the weather picture Tuesday, with highs reaching the lower to middle 30′s. Clouds will move in and out of the region through much of the week, with highs well into the 30′s. Our next system should be sweeping in by Thursday. At this point it seems precipitation will be possible, with a chance for rain, snow or a wintry mix of both Thursday, changing to light snow showers Friday. No major impacts expected. Behind that system, colder air will push temperatures back into the 20′s for the weekend.

TODAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy and cool. A bit breezy. High: 33°. Wind: SW 10-15+ mph.

TONIGHT: Evening clouds. Patchy freezing drizzle overnight, then gradual clearing. Low: 23°. Wind: SW 5-10 mph.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny and not as cool. High: 35°. Wind: SW 5-10 mph.
