Iowa football greats coming to Davenport for Rally for Reid camp to fight pediatric cancer and teach football fundamentals to youth
DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - After fighting brain cancer for more than three years, five-year-old Reid Gleeson passed away last October. To help keep Reid’s legacy alive and fight pediatric cancer, former Iowa football captain Jake Gervase created the Rally for Reid football camp.
Nine Iowa football greats from Gervase’s era with the Hawkeyes will be at the camp to teach fundamentals of the game to youth. All proceeds from the camp will be donated to the Rally for Reid Foundation to fight pediatric cancer and support families and children who are affected by it.
The camp will be on June 27th in Davenport at the St. Vincent Athletic Complex.
