Officials investigating ‘shooting death’ in Eldridge

ELDRIDGE, Iowa (KWQC) - Police are investigating the death of a woman following a shooting in Eldridge.

Police say the department, along with the Scott County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division are investigating a shooting death. Scott County officials tell TV6 they were investigating the death of a woman. Her name has not been released.

A portion of Davenport Street was blocked off in Eldridge Thursday afternoon following the incident. This was in the 300 block of Davenport Street and Central Drive.
