Police: Juvenile taken into custody following threat made towards Monmouth-Roseville High School
MONMOUTH, Ill. (KWQC) - A juvenile was taken into custody Tuesday following a threat made towards the Monmouth-Roseville High School, police said.
At 2:20 p.m., a report was made to the Monmouth Police Department about a possible violent threat towards the high school.
Officers responded to the high school to investigated and learned through the initial investigation that the suspect was a juvenile and was not on the school campus, according to a media release.
The suspect was taken into custody at their residence. Charges are pending by the Warren County State’s Attorney’s Office, according to the release.
No other information was released.
