“I ALWAYS WANTED TO FIND A WAY TO GIVE BACK OTHER KIDS WHO WERE LIKE ME BECAUSE I KNOW IT’S REALLY REALLY HARD TO BE SICK” SAID EHLER.

ABBY STARTED A NON-PROFIT CALLED ABBY’S BLANKETS OF STRENGTH. SO FAR ABBY HAS MADE MORE THAN 300 BLANKETS TO DONATE TO CHILDREN’S HOSPITALS

“EACH BLANKET TAKES ABOUT 30 MINUTES TO MAKE AND EACH BLANKET IS THE SMALLER ONES ARE TEN DOLLARS A BLANKET AND THE LARGER ONES ARE TWENTY DOLLARS SO IT TAKES A LOT OF TIME, A LOT OF DONATIONS AND SUPPORT FROM THE COMMUNITY AND JUST THE SUPPORT FROM MY FAMILY AND ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE HELPED ME THROUGHOUT THIS”,
