Use of telehealth increases since the pandemic began
DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A new study finds as many as 25-percent of Medicare patients used telehealth to access health professionals since the pandemic. Dr. Bill Langley explains the advantages, especially for those with transportation or mobility issues. He says the only drawback is that it is more difficult to establish relationships and express emotions online, but doctors can still ask questions to come up with a diagnosis. He says he believes telehealth is here to stay.
