QUAD CITIES IA/IL (KWQC) -- YOUR FIRST ALERT FORECAST FROM CHIEF METEOROLOGIST ERIK MAITLAND:

***FREEZE WARNING TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING***

Monday evening it will be a bit blustery and cloudy but overnight winds will die down and as skies clear temperatures will head to the mid and upper 20s to low 30s

allowing widespread frost to develop. A Freeze Warning is in effect for the entire TV6 viewing area for tonight through Tuesday morning. After the cold start, skies

will remain sunny with highs reaching the mid 50s with breezy conditions through the day. The week will remain mostly dry but there will be a chance for rain Thursday

and more rain and storm chances return for the weekend with the best chances Saturday. Highs hit the upper 50s to near 60 Wednesday and Thursday with 60s returning

Friday into early next week.
