DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - A Davenport man was arrested after a pipe bomb went off in a boat Wednesday.

Jon Kucharo, 46, is charged with 2nd-degree arson and four counts of possession of an incendiary device. All four charges are a Class C felony punishable by 10 years in prison.

According to an arrest affidavit, Davenport police responded about 7:57 a.m. to the 1700 block of Spring Street for a pipe bomb being detonated in a pontoon boat. Damages were greater than $750.
