QUAD CITIES, Iowa/Ill. (KWQC) -- YOUR FIRST ALERT FORECAST FROM CHIEF METEOROLOGIST ERIK MAITLAND:

Thursday night skies will start out clear and become partly cloudy toward morning. Winds will stay up with gusts to 25 mph. The southerly component to the wind will

keep temperatures milder than the last few nights with lows near 30. Temps might already be on the rise toward daybreak. Friday will bring increasing clouds and a

chance for some afternoon and evening rain with highs in the 50s, and gusty conditions with winds up to 40 mph, at times. This weekend highs will drop back to the 30s

and 40s with dry weather! Monday could bring some raindrops and 40s with more cold air arriving for the middle of next week as highs fall back to the 30s.
