Brittany Kyles

Brittany joined the KWQC News Team as Weekday Morning Reporter/Digital Anchor in October 2020. Before coming to the Quad Cities, she anchored/reported in Jackson, TN. While in the Hub City, she was presented a “Challenge Coin” for her good work in the community and desire to make a difference by the Jackson Police Department Chief. Right before Brittany left Tennessee, she joined the first historically African American greek-lettered sorority, known as Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Originally from Country Club Hills, Illinois, Brittany graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, with a B.A. in Radio, Television and Digital Media in May 2018. While there she interned with WFLD Fox32 Chicago, writing stories for all social media platforms, plus shadowing anchors and reporters.

When Brittany isn’t working, she loves to spend time with her Shih Tzu-Yorkie, JoJo. She also likes to take on new hobbies, she’s currently learning how to tap dance. Brittany is elated to be closer to her family and make the Quad Cities her new home!
