Dania De La Hoya joined the KWQC-TV6 news team in July of 2018.
Dania is originally from Danville, Illinois and is a graduate of Illinois State University, where she majored in Journalism and French. While there, she worked as a reporter and producer at TV-10 News, the student-run TV station. She also worked as a reporter at the Vidette, the student-run newspaper, as an editor at a campus magazine, and as a reporter at WGLT Radio in Normal, IL. She also writes creatively in her spare time.
Outside of writing, Dania loves to cook and eat cheesy pastas, relax on the couch with a good movie (or re-watch Grey’s Anatomy for the seventh time) and point out every dog she sees on the street. She will be incorporating as many dog stories as possible into her newscasts.
Dania is new to the area and is excited to explore the Quad Cities in her free time. Any news tips or animal stories can be sent to email@example.com.
