Megan Trinrud started as an associate producer at KWQC in the fall of 2012. In 2013, she started producing the 4pm news, and later the 10pm, which she has produced for the last four years. She is a 2015 Midwest Regional Emmy Award winner.
Megan grew up in Rock Island, and graduated from Rock Island High School in 2004. She got her bachelor’s degree in English Literature at Washington University in St. Louis, and her Master’s in Visual and Media Art from Emerson College in Boston.
Megan enjoys traveling, and watching movies and television, especially South Korean dramas. She’s also a big fan of K-Pop. She loves manatees and tries to incorporate them in to as many newscasts as possible. You’re welcome.
