Kaitlyn is a recent graduate of Loras College. She received her B.A. in Media Studies and previously produced for Loras College Television as a reporter for both the news and sports shows.

She also produced the "Sport Shorts" segment for LCTV News from September 2017 through May 2019.

During her time at Loras, Kaitlyn was a writer for the college's newspaper, and also competed on the swim team as a distance freestyler.

Born in Cedar Rapids, and raised in Winterset, Iowa, she now lives in Davenport, where she will be starting her broadcasting career at KWQC as a Producer.

When she was just a toddler, she was terrified of camera. Now, she can't get enough of them.
