This weekend six QCA high school dance teams will be competing in the country’s largest high school dance competition. Pleasant Valley, Davenport Central and Bettendorf are three of those six Quad City high school teams competing at the Iowa High School State Championships and all three schools have one goal in common, to bring home a state title.
The Rock Island Milan School District addressed reported HVAC issues at the high school as well as several elementary schools during Tuesday evening’s school board meeting. Concerns were brought to the district’s attention by concerned parents, students and staff.
A new catholic school is being built in Bettendorf, and it’s the first Catholic school to be built in Scott County in nearly 60 years. Located at Criswell Street and Hopewell Avenue, site work for the new St. Joan of Arc Catholic School began last month.
