MEMPHIS, TN (NBC) - The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Memphis Police Department are asking for the public's help in a huge firearms theft.
ATF and police are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction for those responsible for the theft of firearms from the United Parcel Service (UPS) Facility.
On Sunday, Sept. 30, the UPS facility on East Brooks Road in Memphis, was burglarized by two people driving a U-Haul vehicle.
Approximately 400 firearms were reported to police as stolen. ATF investigators are conducting an inventory to determine the exact number of firearms stolen.
