Bix 7 now ranked among most iconic American races

The Bix 7 road race is now considered one of the most iconic American races.

That's new from Runner's World, a globally circulated monthly magazine for runners.

In its article, the magazine says the race through downtown Davenport is "fire" with seriously steep hills.

Former race director Ed Froelich also mentions, "It's only seven miles long but feels more like you're doing a marathon."
