BURLINGTON, Iowa (KWQC) - UPDATE 7/8: Fire officials are investigating after a fire over the weekend in Burlington.

Fire officials are investigating after a fire over the weekend in Burlington. Officials say on Saturday evening, just before 10 p.m., they were called to a house fire in the 100 block of North Woodlawn in Burlington. Damage is still being assessed but they believe the home is a total loss and "suspicious in nature." (KWQC)

Officials say on Saturday evening, just before 10 p.m., they were called to a house fire in the 100 block of North Woodlawn in Burlington.

Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy fire on the north side of a 2-story wood frame home.

Officials say the house is owned by Billy Graham and was vacant at the time of the fire.

Damage is still being assessed but they believe the home is a total loss and "suspicious in nature."

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Burlington Police and Fire Departments.

ORIGINAL: Several Burlington firefighters are on the scene of a house fire near Woodlawn Street and Market Saturday night.

According to the department, the home was full of fire when crews arrived and they are fighting it defensively. It is unclear what the cause of the fire is.

Fire crews were not able to confirm if anyone was hurt.
