BURLINGTON, Iowa (KWQC) - Edward Stone Middle School was placed on lockdown early Thursday morning after a report of a suspicious person. The lockdown started at 8:10 a.m.

Officials with the Burlington Community School District took to Facebook Thursday with the announcement. Officials say out of an abundance of caution the school was placed on lockdown.
