Dancing FBI agent expected in court Thursday

(NBC) - The man known as the "dancing FBI agent" whose gun accidentally went off, shooting someone, will be in court today.

29-year-old Chase Bishop will be in a Colorado Courthouse today where he's expected to enter a plea.

Bishop was dancing in a Denver nightclub in June when he did a backflip on the dance floor.

His gun fell from his waistband and went off, shooting a man.

Bishop, charged with felony 2nd-degree assault.

His attorney argued that the FBI strongly encourages its law enforcers to carry a firearm at all times.
