FIRST ALERT DAY: Strong storms possible Monday evening, between 3pm-10pm.

Strong to severe storms are possible across the area Monday afternoon into Monday evening as cold front approaches from the west.

Monday will feature mostly cloudy skies, with a warm southerly breeze kicking in by the afternoon hours. High temperatures will surge into the mid to upper 70s.

A cold front will begin to move in around 3pm, and spark off a line of strong to severe storms. The line of storms will progress from West to East across the area through about 10pm, before we clear out overnight.

All modes of severe weather will be possible Monday afternoon. Damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes will all be possible. The quick movement of the storms should prevent widespread flash flooding, but isolated spots could see issues due to flash flooding.
