First Alert Day Wednesday 11.27.19 for Wind Gusts up to 40-50 mph

Quad Cities (KWQC) - Winds will gust close to 50mph or higher today before diminishing in the afternoon. Highs will only be in the 30s today wind chills in the teens. We will get one quiet weather day on Thanksgiving before yet another strong system rolls into the Midwest on Friday. Much, like this current one, we will see mainly rain Friday night into Saturday morning and we will finish it up with wrap around snow showers on Sunday. This will likely impact travel after the Thanksgiving holiday in many locations in the Midwest and east coast
