Flooding impacts local companies, draws concern for business

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Flooding is bad for businesses in the Village of East Davenport and owners say the collapse of the temporary flood wall has only kept more people from shopping in that area.

Typically busy restaurants and boutiques have been quiet lately and when there's no one to serve, owners are forced to make cuts.

Now, businesses are taking to social media to remind residents that they're open and need people's help to stay that way.
