Lee County Sheriff's Office arrests man wanted for robbery and burglary

WEST POINT, Iowa (KWQC) - The Lee County Sheriff's Office arrested a man wanted for outstanding warrants for Robbery and Burglary in the 1st Degree on Tuesday.

31-year-old Skyler Dwayne Stark was arrested in West Point, Iowa for warrants issued by the Keokuk Police Department. The warrants had been outstanding for several weeks.

Two other men were arrested along with Stark, suspected of aiding and abetting Stark while he avoided police's attempts to arrest him.

Jarrod Ray Hagmeier and Jesse Winslow McGee Jr. are both facing charges. Several other people are being investigated for similar aiding and abetting charges. Additional charges are expected to be filed.

Many agencies assisted in the investigation, including the Keokuk Police Department, Lee County Narcotics Task Force, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, Iowa State Patrol, Montrose Police Department, West Point Police Department, Donnellson Police Department, Lee County Attorney's Office, Washington County's Sheriff's Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Clark County Missouri Sheriff's Office, Cedar Rapids Police Department, Burlington Police Department, Lewis County Missouri Sheriff's Office, Quincy Police Department and Hannibal Police Department.
