Lisa Project Exhibit on Display

An emotional exhibit made a one-day showing in the Quad Cities.

Unity Point Health Trinity in Bettendorf was the first Iowa hospital to display the Lisa Project. It’s an interactive experience to show the realities of abuse from a child's point of view. Organizers say even for those who work with child abuse cases, this exhibit is raw and shocking.

“The breakdown these children endure for so long before they feel comfortable coming out about it is definitely eye-opening and this exhibit makes you aware of what these kids have been going through for a long time, said Kate Salsberry, Nurse Manager at Trinity.

The Lisa Project is making other stops in our area in the coming weeks.
