Midday Highs, 20s By Evening Commute
A strong cold front will arrive around noon along the Mississippi River resulting in highs in the 40s, but falling to the 20s by the evening commute. Drizzle will change to sleet and eventually snow, but winds will be high enough that roads will dry out before ice and slippery spots can develop. Thus, no impacts on roads due to wintry precipitation. Wind chills will drop to near zero tonight.
