Moline Police work with business to capture suspected construction site thief

MOLINE, Ill. (KWQC) — Police say they worked with a local businesses to combat against burglaries targeting construction sites. Surveillance cameras were set up that caught a suspect in action.

Officials posted a clip of a burglary at the I-74 Construction site on their Facebook page. Police say 52-year-old Timothy Carter of Moline fled on foot but was captured after a foot chase. He was arrested and charged with burglary.

Carter was taken to the Rock Island County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
