National Prescription Drug Take Back Day - April 29

QUAD CITIES (KWQC) - It's time to clean out your medicine cabinets of unused and expired medications. Several area police agencies are offering free drug take-back events this weekend. Every year, in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration law enforcement agencies offer a safe way to dispose of unwanted medicines keeping them out of the environment and off of the streets.

The service is free an anonymous on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the following locations. No needles, sharps or liquids will be accepted.

Henry County, Iowa 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
-Mt. Pleasant Police Department
-Henry County Sheriff's Office
-Salem City Hall
-Wayland City Hall
-Winfield Police Department
-New London Police Department

Rock Island County, Illinois 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
-Rock Island County Justice Center
-Milan Municipal Building front parking lot
-Silvis City Hall

Mercer County, Illinois 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
-Mercer County Sheriff's Office
-Joy Fire Station
-Viola Fire Station

Clinton County, Iowa 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
