Davenport police make third arrest following victim being robbed at gunpoint

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Two men and a woman are being charged after police say they robbed a victim at gunpoint and then assaulted him.

On Wednesday, Sept. 11 police made a second and third arrest in the case and placed 22-year-old Roger Hickman, of Davenport, and 19-year-old Mikayla Determan, of Davenport, under arrest.

Police say on August 25, 20-year-old Bradley Marshall, of Davenport, was with Hickman and Determan when they robbed a man at gunpoint.

Officials say Determan lured the victim to the 1000 block of Blythewood Place. Police say the victim was lured there and brought $2,000 and a bottle of vodka there were Hickman and Marshall were waiting for the victim.

When the victim arrived, police say Marshall and Hickman were wearing ski masks when they pointed a gun at the victim and demanded his cash. Prior to giving up the cash police say Marshall and Hickman assaulted the victim multiple times by punching him in the face and head.

Both men took the victim's cash, a cellphone and a bottle of liquor he had on him according to police. Police say that cash totaled out to $2,000. Police say they were later found on East 39th Street.

Police say the suspects' phones were seized and search warrants to download the phones were obtained.

Officials say on the phones detectives found messages between the suspects that spoke about the victim by name and the plan to rob him. Police also say they found a video on Marshall's phone showing the money a half-hour after the robbery.

Marshall, Hickman and Determan are all being charged with 1st-degree robbery and conspiring to commit a forcible felony, both felony charges.
