DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - UPDATE 9:45 p.m.: Four juveniles have been arrested facing multiple charges including carrying weapons after a police chase through Davenport.
Just before 4 p.m., police located a stolen white Ford Edge near West Central Park Ave. and Wilkes Ave.
Officials say one of the occupants, a juvenile, had active charges of 2nd-degree Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony and Assault while Participating in a Felony. Officials say the juvenile had also been named in prior incidents involving a gun.
A vehicle pursuit ensued and officials say they used a Pursuit Intervention Technique on 59th Street near Main Street.
According to officials four juveniles who were inside the vehicle exited and ran from police. After a short foot chase, police say they took four juveniles into custody.
Officials say they located a loaded gun inside the vehicle.
Two officers and one juvenile were taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries. Two squad cars and the stolen vehicle were damaged.
According to officials two 14-year-old boys, a 13-year-old and a 12-year-old boy were taken into custody.
1st 14-year-old boy: Charged with Carrying Weapons, 1st-degree theft and Interference with Official Acts Causing Bodily Injury and several driving related charges following the pursuit. Police say this juvenile also had active charges of 2nd-Degree Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit a Felony and Assault while Participating in a Felony.
2nd 14-year-old boy: Charged with Carrying Weapons, 1st-Degree Theft and Interference with Official Acts causing bodily injury.
13-year-old boy: Charged with Carrying Weapons, 1st-Degree Theft and Interference with Official Acts causing bodily injury.
12-year-old boy: Charged with Carrying Weapons, 1st-Degree Theft and Interference with Official Acts causing bodily injury.
ORIGINAL: A police chase Thursday afternoon ended in a crash in northwest Davenport. Around 4 p.m. officers began to chase a vehicle.
Our crew recorded officers in pursuit until the vehicle crashed at 59th and Main Street. A police squad car at the scene also had damage.
